2. How long does the process take? You will attend an orientation which last about 20-30 minutes. If you bring all the required documents to the orientation, the process doesn't take long at all. If your application is approved, you will meet with your Workforce Specialist and be enrolled into the program immediately.

3. What makes me eligible for the program? You are eligible, if you are a military spouse who left employment to come to Ft. Hood or a dislocated worker, including a non-retiring veteran who is anything other than dishonorably discharged. A dislocated worker is one who was separated from employment due to a lay off or business closure.

4. Will you place in into a job? Workforce Solutions Central Texas is not a placement agency. We will provide you with job leads and ensure you are one of the most qualified candidates. We will assist you in creating a professional resume, upgrade your computer skills, and provide you with access to communication and interviewing skill courses.

5. Is training available and how does it work? Once you determine which high-demand occupation on our job programs list you are most interested in, we will review the appropriate schools and help you start your application process. Once accepted, bring the acceptance letter in to your Workforce Specialist. We will review payment for tuition, books and fees associated with the training, as well as any support services you may be eligible for during the job training or education process.
