Child Care Services (CCS) assists with the cost of childcare for low income, working families. Each applicant must meet eligibility requirements and fall within
income guidelines .
- CCS can help you pay for childcare while you are working or in training.
- CCS can provide information about other programs within the Central Texas Workforce System that might benefit you.
- CSS can give you the information to find a daycare center in your area.
How do you become eligible for the Child Care Services Program?
Each adult in the household must be working at least 30 hours per week. or Going to school full-time on campus*. or Working part time and going to school (on campus) part time. AND You must fall within the Board established
income guidelines .

What you need to apply for the program.
1. You can contact our office - or click
HERE to obtain an Application. The
Application (Form 2050-A) needs to be filled out completely.
Note: There are two ways to do this. 1. Using your mouse, right click on the above links and select "Save Target As" to save the form to your computer. You can then open it in your word processing software and print it on your printer. 2. Using your mouse, left click on the above links. That will open the form in a new window. Click on your browser's Print button to print the form. (These processes are the same for all the CCS forms.)

You need to fill out the top portion of the
Child Support Verification Form 2043 . Click
HERE to obtain the form. Once you have it printed - fill out the top portion with your information, sign and date.
3. After filling out the above forms (Application and Child Support Verification), bring them to one of our offices. You must also bring the following documents with you if applicable:
- Social Security cards for each family member
- Birth certificates for each child
- Four most recent pay stubs. Latest full month LES if military
- Bring award letter or other proof of SSI, GI Bill, or VA payments if applicable
- Transcript from every college attended
- Degree Plan/Training Plan
- Student Data Form
- Current class schedule
- Proof of child support payments, or proof of an open child support case with the Office of Attorney General (OAG). The CIN# issued by OAG would be best.
- A copy of your divorce decree
- Proof of separate households - utility bill or rental lease, if separated from spouse

Teen Parents
Teen parents receive priority placement if they are attending high school or equivalent.
Eligibility is based on the
entire household's income including that of the parents of the teen. AND the total income must not exceed our
income guidelines.
Grandparents
In addition to meeting eligibility requirements, Grandparents must have proof of legal guardianship or custody of the child(ren) AND total household income must not exceed our
income guidelines .
