Welcome to my assessment products page. This page will familiarize you with products that we currently have available for business use. These instruments are designed to assess persons applying as new employees or who are moving up the ladder in their current employment. The instruments offer you, the employer, the chance to base a selection on objective information in addition to that gained in an interview or resume.

System of Assessment and Group Evaluation (SAGE)
This assessment provides a wide spectrum of information about a potential employee. Results can be matched to specific job requirements listed in the US Dictionary of Occupational Titles. Using this information, you will have an idea of how well the employee matches general requirements for the job. Various elements of this instrument may be used seperately. This instrument is available in English only. Areas measured include the following:
  • Aptitude - measures a person's ability to learn or perform duties in the areas tested. Included are General Learning; Verbal; Numerical; Eye-Hand-Foot Coordination; Finger Dexterity; Manual Dexterity; Color Perception; Clerical; Motor Coordination; Form Perception; and Spatial Relationships.
  • General Educational Development - measures a person's educational development in three areas: Reasoning, Math, and Language.
  • Vocational Interest - Measures a person's interest and relates jobs to these areas.
  • Learning Styles - indicates how a person best learns, whether it is by listening, doing, seeing, etc.
  • Worker Attitudes - gives an indication of a person's attitude toward the workplace.
  • Temperament Factors - indicates the person's choice of preferred working conditions such as whether or not they prefer working alone or with people, whether they prefer jobs where they make judgements or whether they are just told what to do, etc.

Tests of Adult Basic Education
This is a series of tests designed to indicate the approximate grade levels of a potential employee in the areas of reading, math, and language. The results may be used to see if the person is functioning at the level you feel is required for your job offering. The tests are generally related to basic job skills such as applied math and reading charts, diagrams, and text. In addition, it measures how well a person recognizes and can compose correctly written English. The reading and math portions of this test are available in Spanish.

Assessment of Keyboarding and Data Entry Skills
This assessment uses the R.D. Craig Assessment package. It measures skills in typing on a keyboard and data entry of numbers and text into tables and forms. The assessment information includes accuracy and speed and can be customized to your specific requirements. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and is available to you immediately. Employers can use this assessment to ascertain the abilities of a person for placement into a specific job. Job seekers can use it to see if they require some brushing up on skills, or as part of a job seeking strategy that involves proving your abilities to an employer.
