Veteran's Training Programs
    Education Training Program
  • A program to assist veterans obtain skills for the workforce.
  • Monthly training allowance provided to the veteran by the Department of Veteran Affairs (GI Bill)
  • Occupational training areas: Mechanics, Funeral Director, Peace Officer, etc.

    On-the-Job Training
  • Employer-Veteran training OJT program.
  • USDVA monthly payments provided to the veteran.
  • Employer provides no less than minimum wages to the veteran.
  • Two year training program.

    Vocational Rehabilitation Program
  • Veterans Administration sponsored education program.
  • University approved 4 year program
  • Veteran must be rated by the VA with a 20 percent or greater disability to qualify.

    Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC)
  • One year tax credit program for employers.
  • Maximum credit availabel is $2100 year.
  • Veterans must meet certain eligibility requirements
